White Oak Middle School Awards Ceremony – Thursday, May 21

Our White Oak Middle School Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 21, from 9:00–10:00 AM in the Auditorium, and families are encouraged to attend as we celebrate our students!

As a reminder, the regular school dress code will be fully enforced for all dress-up attire. This is an annual issue, so please help us ensure students arrive dressed appropriately for the ceremony. For your convenience, our campus dress code is attached for reference as families plan attire for Thursday.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• 
  
  • No strapless, tank, or spaghetti strap tops
  • No low-cut, off-the-shoulder, backless, or otherwise revealing attire
• Dress, skirt, and short length must meet regular school dress code requirements (no shorter than 3" above the knee)

Because students will be walking up stairs and across the stage above audience level, it is important that all attire remains appropriate throughout the event.

Students who arrive out of dress code will be required to call home for a change of clothes before participating in the ceremony.

Please note: Thursday is an early release day. Students may leave with their families at the conclusion of the awards ceremony. Students remaining at school will be served lunch, and district transportation will run at the normal early release dismissal time of 12:15 PM.
