Hi everyone! I’m Amanda Childress, and this is my 15th year as a public educator.
My initial calling was reading in any capacity: teacher, interventionist, dyslexia specialist and then instructional coach. In the last two years, I’ve been an assistant principal working with grades 7th through 12th. Working with students and staff has been so rewarding, and I look forward to doing that here in White Oak!
In my personal time, I am a wife, mother and adventure seeker. My husband, Chris and I, love to travel and spend time with our fur baby Dorian. I am excited to meet and get to know each one of you this year.
